DMA conducted a workforce assessment of the supply of Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners (PMHNPs) on behalf of the Massachusetts Department of Public Health, assessed unmet need, and recommended methods to increase supply. The assessment spanned across the state and focused on the current reality and use of PMHNPs at Community Health Centers and Rural Health Centers in particular.
