DMA assisted the Massachusetts Department of Public Health’s Suicide Prevention Program in strategic planning. DMA used a socio-ecological model of risks of violence to self and others as the framework for assessing the need for suicide prevention across the state. DMA also analyzed performance data from current suicide prevention providers and interviewed suicide prevention stakeholders to provide a basis for facilitating strategic planning to procure new provider contracts.
