DMA worked with the Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care (EEC) to help develop and recruit a Family Advisory Council (FAC). DMA first supported establishing and implementing a Design Team -- comprised of parents, community partners, and EEC staff – which provided input to EEC regarding the FAC’s role and structure. DMA then assisted EEC with the development of the FAC application, applicant scoring and selection, bylaws and onboarding process and materials. DMA also created a robust Reference Toolkit including a full range of professional development opportunities for FAC members.
