DMA worked with the Office of the Child Advocate (OCA) to conduct a series of focus groups designed to inform The Massachusetts Department of Children & Families (DCF) redesign of its Family Support & Stabilization services to ensure that the program meets the needs of the families it serves. Groups were conducted in English, Spanish, and Cape Verdean Creole and tailored to the needs and preferences of partner organizations representing geographically, culturally, and linguistically diverse communities. Findings were shared with DCF in advance of its re-procurement process.
